Digital Redecorating

Thursday 6 August 2009 - Filed under Life

I didn’t mean to.  I really didn’t! I was going to be productive tonight! I was going to finish sewing my skirt! But I some how ended up spending the last hour or two looking at diff themes for winxp.  I’ve never really changed it from the classic style of just plain old grey,  and i’ve never downloaded themes.

Then Andy told me Chrome released a beta that comes with different themes, so of course I had to test it out  1.  I’m using the “Earthy” one and I love it!  I always thought Chrome was a little too blue:roll: I’m really digging this sublet brown business.  So much so in fact, that it launced the longest internet search for a theme to match.  That search ended here.   I’m using a theme called Lebis.   Please indulge me in a few screen shots

New Look!

It goes so so well with everything.  With both the look of the new Chrome, and co-incidentally i swear,  rather lovely with my own site. ~_~

I also loved how it made the file windows look.  There were so many themes that had nice start bars and terrible fonts, or vise versa.  I wanted it to be just right!!!  Another nice feature is the hover effect on saving or cancelling.  It’s red if you go to cancel and blue when you save.  I think it’s nice cause when I’m tired I occasionally hit cancel instead ~_~  My eyes are not what they used to be.

Any who, I’m in the midst of a really good book and I want to sneak in some reading before bed.  One last note, in case anyone is wondering, my wall paper is a photo taken by this awesome guy named Trey who’s blog I added to my reader just because he adds so much beauty to my day.

Night night world!
