I really love the Moon.

Sunday 24 February 2008 - Filed under Life

Hiiiiiiiiiii. OK, here are the pics of the Lunar Eclipse I promised. The first one I took at it was just beginning. It had been super cloudy all day, so I was pretty stoked when it finally cleared up in the evening :)

Lunar Eclipse

And the second one is when it was almost complete. It was pretty dark by this time… I had binoculars with me.. so it looked amazing… Too bad my camera isn’t quite as good. sadface. I took a bazillion pics. But these were the only good ones out of the lot.

Lunar Eclipse Two

I also took some video too, but it looks like a spec on the horizon. What the picture doesn’t really convey is, how you could still totally see the Moon even tho it was covered by the earths shadow. Ah… how i love the moon and the stars. If only the Doctor would show up in his TARDIS and sweep me off my feet. ./daydream

Speaking of time travel… so i feel months behind because i’ve only heard about John Titor now. I’ve obsessively read everything I can find on him and i don’t know man.. it’s so out there.. but what if it’s true!!?? For those who don’t have hours to pour into finding out who he is I’ll give you the breakdown. He’s a time traveler from the year 2036 who showed up in forums all around the internet in 2000. After a few months of answer questions and what not… he said he had to go back to his time line and was never heard of again. Of course you’re going to say what i said… and right off the bat think it’s an internet hoax or some kids science project on internet media… but after spending hours and hours reading this stuff… i have to admit there’s something eerie and unworldly about the way he talks. So much of the future he describes is terrifying, and so much of it gives hope. And it’s so in the near future that you can’t help but think.. if this is true, than it’s something that i’m going to live through… maybe >< Or maybe not!!! But who really knows? Time is something that we really know nothing about. ./loses herself in thought…

Neat pictures! I didn’t get to see the moon. :( I don’t know if it was too cloudy here or if it was just behind my apartment or what.

I have never heard of John Titor. I am intrigued though. I’ll have to do some research now…
