It started with Fireflies, but if I were to choose one song to introduce people with, I’d be tempted to say “I’ll meet you there“.

Owl City has really swept me off my feet, and made me fall in love with music all over again. I never thought I’d love another band the way I loved the Postal Service… but I don’t know what to say, Owl City is just the most beautiful music I’ve ever heard. I’m so happy that there’s a lovely amount of it. ¹

My twin sent me an email on Friday with the song “Fireflies” when I was about half way through my day at work. Well, as soon as I heard the first few notes, I knew it was special. Whenever I’m about to become seriously in love with a song, it stills my heart, and I just know. Then the rest of my work day was spent making a Owl City play list on Imeem ², and listening to it over and over. ³

Fuzzy Blue Lights is really special too. There’s something about his voice and his lyrics, his music feel so much more personal, like it’s a conversation w/ my heart. Every nuance is so beautiful arranged. Every melody is inspiring.

Designer Skyline is so cute. I love the base line. I love everything. It’s ridiculous that I’m trying to pick just a few songs to mention, and I’m wanting to mention every single song and spout in poetic declarations of love, my feelings on it. West Coat Friendship is really lovely too.

I just re-listened to I’ll meet you there. And I just read one of Adam’s blog posts where he introduces Ocean Eyes. I really hope I meet him one day.
